Dedicated to the memory of Jo Cox who worked as a Labour Mp in Batley ¬ Spen West Yorkshire.
She puts the interests of her local community before personal glory.
She was a member of the British Humanist Association.
Ms Cox´s two children designed and unveiled a coat of arms featuring the words "more in common", taken from her maiden speech in the chamber.
lyrics
THIS DAMN CIVIL WAR
The deal has gone down
and it’s too late to cry
separate ways
separate lives
we’ve all gone to sea
but we’ve not left the shore
our tongues have all died
and our lips are all sore
baby stay close to me
cos blood’s going to pour
yeah the deal is gone down
but we don´t care any more
someone bent the truth
someone broke the law
the house is on fire
but there’s no water to pour
there’s no way of knowing
what this fighting is for
they say only the dead
ever see the end of war
we used to be lovers
now we’re not even sure
yeah the deal has gone down
but we don´t care any more
so curse you and me
yes and curse history
but, baby curse most of all
this damn civil war
this damn civil war
but curse most all
this damn civil war
